Knowle Badminton Club is a feathers-only mixed badminton club based in Solihull, West Midlands, welcoming league level players aged 16 and over. Our club is proud of both the high standard of play and the friendly, inclusive environment we’ve built.
Club Information
Club Nights
We meet every Tuesday evening from 7.00pm until 9.30pm at Lode Heath School in Solihull. We currently play across two courts, with an average nightly attendance of 12-16 players. We play regularly throughout the year - taking only a short break during the summer holidays.
Shuttles
We play with high-quality feather shuttles (currently Yonex AS-30) while keeping our membership fees as affordable as possible. Given the recent rise in shuttle costs, we’re also exploring other shuttle options, such as the RSL Classic Tourney.
League Teams & Coaches
We currently field two teams in the Solihull League: our Men’s team in Division 2 and our Mixed team in Division 1. We’re always on the lookout for league-standard players to join us and help strengthen our squads! We also have several full qualified Badminton England coaches.
Fees
We operate on a pay-as-you-play basis, with our club night fees set to £8 for members and visitors. For our regular members, however, we offer a bulk buy option, where you can purchase 12 sessions at a discounted rate.
